Getting Your Child Into Golf

There are many opportunities in Ontario for children to become involved with golf. The best ways to start playing golf are by joining a good coaching program at a local golf club, driving range, golf centre or club on a school site or community centre.

The RCGA website is a great resource for finding your nearest golf clubs or other learning centers. You will find a feature called ‘search RCGA member club’ under the green ‘inside the RCGA’ tab at the top-left corner of the webpage. Once there, enter your postal code to view a list of golf clubs near you.

Another resource is to follow the link to the Future Links website, where you can search courses nearby and see what junior programs they offer.
