We look forward to hearing from you.
The Golf Association of Ontario (GAO) in conjunction with Golf Canada provides all schools within the National Golf in Schools program information about next steps for kids to take in golf beyond the school level to get them "out on the course". Registered CN Future Links Learn To Play sites will now be listed as contact sites for teachers running the National Golf in Schools Program (NGIS). CN Future Links Learn to Play is a "best in class" development program approved by both Golf Canada, the Canadian PGA and Sport Canada, thus we highly recommend that teachers look for facilities using this program. The list of Learn to Play sites will allow teachers to contact local junior-friendly facilities to enhance the transition between the introduction of golf at schools to the next step in golf at a golf specific facility. This is an outstanding opportunity for the golf professional to embrace these junior golfers and provide assistance in both facility access and instruction from a Canadian PGA professional.
The connection of these two initiatives further emphasizes the success that can be achieved through partnerships such as the GAO, Golf Canada, Canadian PGA and Sport Canada partnership and the collaborative efforts within Canada's Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model.
